About Us

OUR HISTORY

We are a locally owned Greengrocer serving the communities of Wadebridge and Bodmin and we offer a free delivery service throughout the area of North Cornwall.

November 2010

The Vine Wadebridge was opened in November 2010. At the helm are Chris Andrews and Dave Allan who were both former employees of the ill fated Stokes the Greengrocer until its demise in October 2010. Chris and dave secured the lease and with the help of family and friends re merchandised, overhauled and re branded the store as The Vine. Many of the old staff resumed their posts and we now have an experienced team with specialist fresh produce experience.

November 2011

In November 2011 we opened our second store in Bodmin establishing The Vine as a Cornish high street  brand. We also launched our ‘Mobile Greengrocer’ bringing our shop to the doors of the whole of North Cornwall.

Currently

Our Wadebridge and Bodmin shops have gone from strength to strength and continue to be a central part of the towns local communities. Our Mobile Shop has grown in size and continues to be extremely popular across North Cornwall. We also offer free deliveries ensuring fresh local produce is just a phone call away.

A word form Dave and Chris. ‘We would both like to thank the people of Wadebridge and Bodmin for the support that we have received since embarking on our new venture. We hope to see you all soon in The Vine.’

CORNISH PRODUCE

Support Your Local Farmers

We work closely with a growing network of Cornish farmers and suppliers in order to reduce food miles whilst helping the local community and farming industry. Local Farmers deliver their produce direct to our stores, sometimes just hours after being harvested, enabling us to offer the freshest produce at a fair for everybody price.
